Time:

How the design ages in the 3D view: henna fades within about two weeks, a tattoo blurs and becomes paler and bluer over the years. This is a preview, not a promise; skin, location and care decide.

Take it along

The stencil is black on white at real size (300 dpi) with a 5 cm scale. Show it to your studio; it decides line weight and feasibility.

Respect & safety

  • The figure is neutral, clothed and not modelled on any real person. There are no intimate areas and no areas under the clothing.
  • Religious phrases are sacred to many people. For many, the name of God does not belong on the foot, ankle or calf; we point this out.
  • Henna: only pure natural henna (reddish brown). “Black henna” may contain PPD and can cause serious harm. Do a small patch test first.
  • Tattoo: a tattoo is permanent. Try it temporarily first, for example with henna or a paper stencil. Strict rules apply to minors depending on the country; ask your studio.

Frequently asked questions

What can I do here?

You pick a body area on a 3D figure, place a henna or tattoo design on it, turn the figure and check size and placement. Then you save a 1:1 stencil, print it or share the image and link. Everything runs in your browser.

Why only these body areas?

We deliberately show only areas that are common for henna and tattoos and stay clothed on screen: neck, nape, arm, hand, foot, ankle, calf. The figure is a neutral, invented model that does not resemble a real person and is based on the free MakeHuman base model (CC0). There are no intimate areas, out of respect for different cultures and religions and so the page suits everyone.

Are the designs really yours?

Yes. All seventeen styles are original designs by arabic-letters.com, calculated in the page, with no third-party images and nothing traced from books. They are inspired by henna traditions (Gulf, Morocco, India, Sudan) but do not copy any specific template. “Shuffle” creates new variants every time.

Can I put my name into the design?

Yes. Switch on “Name in the design” and type the name in Latin letters; we transliterate it live. Have the spelling confirmed by an Arabic speaker before a tattoo. We check the script, not the meaning.

How accurate are the sizes?

The design has exactly the centimetres you set, and the stencil is 1:1 (300 dpi) with a 5 cm scale. The figure is a schematic: arms, hands and feet are larger or smaller depending on the person. Best try the stencil on paper against your own skin.

Is “black henna” safe?

No. Real henna is reddish to dark brown. A deep black pattern that is ready within minutes usually contains the dye PPD, which can cause severe allergic reactions and lasting scars. Only accept pure natural henna, ideally with an ingredient list.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Figure, designs and files are created in your browser. Nothing leaves your device unless you share it yourself.

How is this different from the tattoo & henna studio?

The tattoo & henna studio shows lettering at real size on a schematic of hand, arm, collarbone and ankle. The body studio is the 3D addition with more areas (neck, nape, foot, calf) and with original henna designs.

Note: all sizes are rough guides without guarantee. Have every spelling confirmed before anything permanent. We are neither a tattoo studio nor a religious authority.
