Ring & engraving studio

See your name in Arabic as a rotating ring, set ring size and band width and find out whether the lettering stays cleanly legible at that size. At the end you get a true-scale template for your engraver.

The ring updates as you type. Tap an Arabic word to pick other spellings. “Check & sizes” loads the verified spelling with its minimum size if the name is in the lexicon.

Enter a name above – or type Arabic text directly into the field below the preview.

Drag with the mouse in any direction (double-click = reset, Ctrl + wheel = zoom). On a phone: swipe to rotate, buttons for the view.

Values = finest line / smallest gap. “medium” and “fine” are example assumptions (e.g. fine laser), not manufacturer specs. Only your engraver can tell what they can really achieve.

    Assumptions for the minimum size

Our assumptions, not verified standards. Your engraver knows the real limits of their method.

The PNG carries its resolution (600 dpi) in its metadata so programs open it at actual size. Black on white, with a frame showing the band size.

    Frequently asked questions

    How accurate is the preview?

The dimensions (circumference, band width, lettering height) are calculated exactly from your input. The metal look is an illustration, not a photo. How fine your engraver can work depends on method and material – ask for the smallest lettering height.

Where do the minimum sizes come from?

We rendered verified names in six script styles and measured where letters nearly touch and how thin the finest strokes are. That gives a minimum height – under the assumptions of 0.6 mm line and 1.0 mm gap. These assumptions are ours, not verified standards; you can change them.

    Is my name uploaded?

No. Preview, calculation and files are created in your browser. Only the name in the address bar is transmitted when the page is opened, as with any page.

How can I test the size beforehand?

“Print 1:1” gives you the template at actual size. Cut it out, wrap it around your finger and see whether lettering and band feel right. When printing choose “Actual size / 100%”, not “Fit to page”.

Note: the check covers the script, not the meaning. All sizes are guide values without guarantee. Have every spelling confirmed by an Arabic speaker before a permanent engraving.
